Solo By AL-KO Premium R 85.1 Li 72V Battery-Powered Rear Collect Ride-On Mower

The first battery-powered ride-on lawn mower from solo by AL-KO is the environmentally-friendly Premium R 85.1 Li featuring variable e-drive and twin blade, steel mower deck.

At the heart of this rear collect mini rider is a 75V battery which powers the brushless motor. Starting the machine could not be simpler with the turn of a key and touch of a button. The simply laid out control panel is located adjacent to the driver’s seat for convenience, and simple foot-pedal operation allows easy operation.

A single charge of the 31Ah battery will provide up to 150 minutes of running time, which is more than sufficient for lawns up to 6,000 square metres.

Variable e-drive, with a forward speed of 6.5km/h and reverse of up to 5km/h, provides simple operation with the ability to engage cruise control for operator comfort.

The solo by AL-KO Premium R 85.1 Li has a compact 81cm working width and is equipped with a steel deck which utilises two counter-rotating blades with independent motors to achieve a superb finish. The cutting height can be adjusted centrally through 10 stages between 25 to 130mm to suit changing mowing conditions and the desired finish.

The versatile 2-in-1 cutting function offers the user the choice of collecting or mulching the grass clippings. For a tidy finish, cut and collect into the large 190 litre grass collector, which can be emptied from the driver’s seat using the tipping lever. Alternatively, insert the mulch plug provided to produce finer particles which are returned back to the surface of the lawn. An optional rear deflector can be purchased separately.

The total width of 85cm means it is compact enough to fit through narrow gates and entrances which are too wide for a traditional lawn tractor.

When the lawn is mowed, just plug in your rider to recharge it within 12 hours, ready for the next outing.
