The Handy THTD48 48″ Towed Dethatcher

An excellently priced towed dethatcher from The Handy lawn care range, this 48″ model can be towed behind any make of lawn tractor or ride-on mower. Use in the spring, summer and autumn to draw out matted layers and thatch which can build up when mowing without collecting.

The Handy THTD48 dethatcher is equipped with two rows of 12 spring-loaded tines which effectively rake out roots, leaves, grass clippings and other small vegetation which threaten to inhibit the growth of your lawn. The dethatcher incorporates a weight tray, which can be ballasted to provide deeper penetration into the top layer of soil.

A useful single-lever transport handle allows the tines to be raised for transportation, and a universal hitch pin is included.
