The Handy THTPA40 102cm / 40″ Towed Plug Aerator

Loosen compacted soils and allow more efficient air and moisture penetration with this towed plug-type lawn aerator from The Handy.

The steel-framed THTPA40 has a working width of 40″ and also has a steel weight tray with a 45.4kg capacity so deeper penetration can be achieved. The aerator’s 24 replaceable hollow core tines will remove plugs of soil up to a maximum of 3″ deep. When crossing hard surfaces which don’t require aeration, the spools holding the tines can be raised using a single-hand lift lever.

The Handy 40″ lawn aerator features a pair of 10″ pneumatic tyres which improve manoevrability and is fitted with a drawbar and universal hitch pin suitable for towing the unit behind most makes of lawn tractor.
